Hmmm. Kinda hard to debug without maybe a screenshot of tritem.
Tritem does show the meshes, right?
There are no open meshes? (blue spaces)?

I know there is a problem on the collisional data being wrong for
certain type( probably illegal) triangles, usually a sharp ' V ' shape.
Never seen where the meshes werent put in. However if the sector was
'rotated' in someway, (rview) , there will be probs, but once again
usually on the collisional side. Unless you're throwing in an ungodly
amount of triangles (over maybe 100?)
Also, if there are 'open' meshes, and you put the triangles high up
you won't see them . Every mesh must connect.
