with you comments about the "possible TR editor"
although it's mentioned that "the editor will be modified for
the various (TR1 thru TRLR ) formats..."
does any of us really believe that statement?
I suspect that it will be a "simple, non-complex" level
editor that they'll offer...the "tools that the level designers
use" will be the textures and lights; not the ability
to create "complex rooms" and unusual geometry...
also, they will make it for "every man" ...so, you know that
it will be difficult to use on a smaller PC...
(which should Not be the case; as you've demonstrated with
your TReditor?Rview programs...) I use a 133 Mhz Intel, that's
been "striped" of:InterNet merde, sound & video trash, extra
programs.
it's all: RAM chips, an extra HD sitting on top of the case,dual
vid cards,a 21" monitor that I rescued from the Dump; it's
a real fire-breathing "old, crappy, obsolete PC"...
which does the job nicely, since I know what I want to use it for:
building TR levels.
(not "building or viewing Java Applets")or any of that guano...
