I have finished working on TRueView/Linux (see my message on 2000-05-09), and I would like to ask Eep2 to put the result on his utilities page so that others (Linuxers in particular) may benefit from it.
I have completely rewritten the routines for reading and writing the level files, making them nicely portable to any platform, not just Linux. The code should as well compile and work for Windows or Macintosh, but I don't have the tools to check this. I have also added a few features: writing TR1, TR2, TR3 files, fps for Linux, and I have fixed some bugs.
Yuri published his source code with the intent that any derivative work should be released back to the public domain, so I guess he would approve (he hasn't shown up in this forum since March). Eep2, would it be okay for you if I mailed you my .tar.gz file?
