: About your tool: does it display the sound name like "sound #num" or with a friendly name ? I mean, I like sound jack because it tries to display a name matching the sound (it's in a separate text file and it's hard-coded, but TR1/2/3/4 are released and these will never change). It's a lot easier to find a sound when it has a name than listening to all sounds looking for the one you are interested in. Or may be regrouping them would be possible: all Lara sounds / all ambiance sounds / etc...
: I'm thinking about this naming problem: when you are working on a level, I think having a real name for each item would be better than having something like "moveable #1" or "mesh #34". We could create some optional structures (appended after the data level) which would map an "item number" to a friendly name... That's a thought for the moment (it's not really important now), but later we may have to think about it again.

You're right, but unfortunately I can't create a new sound list for tr3 because I don't know what these sounds all are. I will know some, but not all.
Mine programs shows the ones from the full tr2 and the cold war demo but no other version... If someone wants do create a text file for this I would be very happy and add this in TRsound.
I will release it in afew days (I think) but is has some problems.
Tomb Raider 2 plays all my imported souns well, but tr3 versions sometimes does/or doesn't. I didn't find a consequent thing in it. I will release it, but if someone teaches me how to work around this problem, I will try to cover this in the program. I tried editting TR4 level files, but the sound sounded strange... If someone will help me, with this, my program will support these level files (mut now it won't).
