:
: :I guess if you want to make your texture appear flipped, you would rotate it that way, since an area
: :can be set to as amny different set of coordinates as you need.

: Note that if you rotate the textures on the object_texture_table, then
: ALL FACES with that texture will look rotated too.
: If someone want to apply a rotated texture to one
: face, he should rotate the face cordinates instead:

:
: p1-----p2 Draw the face in this way
: | | the texture on in look normal.
: | |
: p4------p3

:
: p4-----p1 Draw the face in this way
: | | the texture on in look rotated.
: | |
: p3------p2

I think it might have been used for things like when they reference the same area in different texture so it can be drawn rotated without having to do it in the level file.

That tells me the artist(s) who made and listed the textures were the one who set this up and the level maker just used their texture collection. For the level maker, it would appear as two different texture.

Aniway, since the information is there, I'll try to figure out everything I can do with it: there might be a hidden reason for that feature and I can't take the chance to leave it out, it might sabotage subtly any level where it is not. Lara levels must be *perfect* for Her ;-)

Next step : Editing.

To test it, I will edit the custom TR2 level that was posted here so long ago and try things, then post them on my site, as examples.
