How to run custom TR3 level ?

Let's say I build a custom TR3 level (or levels)...

how would I run it on my machine. I know how to run the custom TR2 level (from my TR2 gold level1 demo.

BTW, I have all the TR3 demo I could have so...

Is it just a matter of replacing a level by the custom one and renaming it?
