yes, those were scans from Geographics;I print
them in BW,tape the sheets to my light table and trace them.
I use Micron 08 pens for my inking(I'm lazy;I
should use a quill, that looks better)
then, I tape a clean sheet over the inking & watercolor
them.
I scan these & use them for ideas for tiles
it seems that the texture tiles for a game level must "be
the same" somehow..to look right...I don't think it's a good idea
to put an outstanding picture alongside of a plain one.
so it's kind of tricky; sometimes I look at my stuff & say"
nice pic, but it doesn't go w/ the game"...
you know what I mean?
incidently, if something doesn't seem to "work" or "look right"
please say so; I value that...
