I might be wrong, but, I think that maybe you're
refering to "sprites" & "3D pre-fabs" as they
are known in other games...

no, not yet. To bad, levels are mighty "barren"
without them.

it is possible to spend a great deal of time to
build your own & place them in your home made level.
but, they would only be an imitation of CD's
pre-fabs...

if you save a TR1 "Egyptian" room with palm trees
as a .dxf file, when you open the file, the trees are gone..
maybe someone will address this in the future; Popov's
TRviewer program is the best educational tool for studying
TR prefabs...

here is an example file I did of exactly Copying
an existing TR room's meshes and textures...
of course, this doesn't include sprites or prefabs; I have
no idea how to do that one yet...
