el Ojo;

: ( www.novavide.com, is this a virtual host at webjump.com, Kevin? )
my registered domain name hosted by WJ; ain't it a prize?
just say the word, & I'll have them nuked...
in fact, if it's really a supreme bother for everybody,
I should consider another host I quess.
but, I hate "paperwork"...
maybe this other new board & host?(I mean for the downloads)

: Rascal webjump.com has a peculiar nasty way of url cameleonage system. If you
: set the location the above url and begin downloading, there appears three-frame
: html file. Main frame has this:

: FRAME src="http://freehosting1.at.webjump.com/xxxxxxxxx/no/novavide/trlevels/copycat.zip"

: N.B. the filename is now lowercase.

: and this "xxxxxxxxx" part changes at some ( not-constant? ) interval.
: This strategy may be employed to discourage downloading large files, i think.
: You think you almost got it, when the "xxxxxxxxx" changes into "yyyyyyyyy" and
: the link is lost. Quite nasty, isn't it.

We always "hurt the ones we love" ...eh?

: Download tools such as ReGet or RetRight were perplexed by this behavior ( newer
: versions i don't know ).
: There's some counter-webjump download tools but they seem to be useless when the
: host is virtual.

: So you do download by the browser. When about to change "xxxxxxxxx" part webjump
: seems to get into insensitive mood and sometimes "not found" message appears in
: the main frame. After sometime just "Reload".

ok, so now I'm reasonably confused...
I guess they're real pros, heh? Kevin
