: BTW, Vagrant looked at the water room, and he says that the engine just won't :recognize the slanted underwater faces. Allthough Rview/TRitem also won't show :these faces.

I looked your picture and look like you want a bridge, for be honest i
still not get it the problem, why those face SHOULD BE RENDER?, where you
put those faces?, can you send me the TRe?

:the engine just won't recognize the slanted underwater faces.

Oh!, do you mean slanted surface instead flat water surface in the room above?, if that is the case then those slant won't be seen, because the
"portal view" show the meshes from the room below (the underwater room) and
slanted surface (going down right?) get hide because they are behind the
"portal view".
So, the correct way is to put those slants in the underwater room.
I can send you a example if this is the problem.

: I know Rview can delete meshes (and I used it a couple of times), but is it :possible for you to make an 'add mesh' option?

Yes, i already think on in, of curse, these new faces will be "Gost faces", mean
mean no solid faces, but can be used for cool efects and others tricks.

: But what size/slant?
: I think the sizes/slant which can be donw with TReditor (all possible meshes with TReditor; so 4 meshes , with rotate option) If you don't understand it, I will take a picture of what four meshes I mean.

Do you mean adding the same shapes from treditor to rview?, rememeber that
drawing with those shapes in 3d will be posible in the treditor 3d.

But i am consider to add to rview the option "move vertex", so moving a vertex
will affect the faces that share that vertex. This way the room WILL NOT look
so perfectly "blocky".
Also i will check how implement trasparent textures in Opengl, and i will improve my "render textured" rutine using opengl bind texture command.
For some others complex faces editing you will need to still using a CAD program, for be honest i can't make Rview compite with proffesional CAD program
like Rhino or Autocad.

see you,

Turbo Pascal.
