hello TB, something that I forgot about
patching "holes" ...

in Rhino, if you use the "create a surface?" tool/command
to patch a hole...

you must remember that a game engine always creates it's
models(the rooms) from the center out.

A 3D modeling program always creates it's models from the
"outside" looking into the center.

that means: if you have made a patch, and it does not
show in the game....

the 3D face "normal" is facing the "wrong way" ...
you can see this in Rview! ....
turn the room upside down.. is your new "patch mesh" on
the underside? if it is...

it's just facing the wrong way...

go back to Rhino 3D, select the tile & on the top
command bar, type in FLIP

export this, run it.. there is the new face now...

but, again, you can check the direction of the
mesh faces in Rview (before you even run
the new level...Kev
