: Yeah, the diference between Tomb Raider and the other games are the people behind them. Maybe youīve seen TR1/2 in some boxed edition w/ lots of other games together sold for about half of the original price. Other great games like Half-Life are still sold in the original package and the price didnīt drop that much. Lara was a kind of money machine for 'them' and soon as her star begins to drop theyīll drop HER. TR5 (TR4 Gold) will be the last TR game in its original form but why? The shop where I bought TR3 and TR4 bought lots of copies for the christmas business in that years and they still seem to stick to the boards as if they are glued to them. This might be a prob of illegal copying, too but itīs obvious that people are tired of playing always the same old levels (donīt get me wrong, I still do it sometimes). There isnīt a real thril in them anymore (How often have you tried until managing to escape from the boulders in TR2 wall level? Once done... where is the problem?)
: TR community is big enough by now but there are games to come w/ more thrills and more exploring features and maybe w/ level editors. So, if they drop Lara, here are some guys like Roy, Turbo and all the others who will catch her and maybe people will find back to the original thril.

: Stay tuned

Yes you are right. When i first saw a long time ago 3D Game on PC like DXXM.
I was fascinate over the realtistic projection of a world where you can walk through. It was not the thrill to kill People at first. It was the thrill to explore the hole World of this Game. Such as Adventuring :-). But when you play those Games over and over you see there is a big thing that all this Killing Games are the same. So i was very lamed about those Games. When TR1 was released i show the real engine movie and played the demo. At this time i was fascinate again but much more then it was at DXXM and the over egoshooters.
It was a big exploring for me to finished those levels of TR1. There wasn't be no other pleasure for me to used my brain and my instincts to explore the levels of TR1. When i was stuck in a Level i tried it another Day an then i run through the puzzle it was a big pleasure and i never could leave Lara alone in her 3D World any day when i played this game. This was my first Game that i played through all levels till end. Gameproducer should look at the good old Commodore ,Texas Instruments,Apple II there where so much ideas of good games
such as California Games or Elite. They should think over and over there Ideas of Games and dont think (How can i get much money). Good guys think alot of his games to produce and pleasure. Like Peter Moleyneux.
