How exactly can I create doors on TR editor?

I was reading up on creating my own doors with TR editor, they said copy the floor to make a hallway, then move it towards the room I copied it from, only thing is, I don't know how to move the damn thing! Can anyone explain in more detail how to create a door or how to move a hallway to another room to create a door?
