When I think of it, I see that part of the texture strip might be used by more than one texture ...er...tile. I was more concerned about having new level being done with fresh new texture strips.

BTW, I kinda figured out why Lara looks so droopy eyed: there is a small texture "stamp" missing in the TR4 texture strip: the one where the bottom part of the eye is drawn. It's very thin and easily missed but it is placed somewhere else since it paints another polygon. However, I don't think they did that intentionaly...I hope.
