Be aware that many textures overlap, and that one section of a textile could
be a part of numerous textures from the texture list. This makes for more
efficient texture packing, but makes "unpacking" and editing more painful.
Rather than showing the textile strip and the outlines of the various textures,
it might be more useful to extract (and allow the editing of) each texture
separately, then have a "compiler" of sorts that would rearrange the image
fragments into textiles again, looking for common elements (i.e. overlaps)
that can be merged. Sounds like a hairy job to me.
