MDI the way to go in my opinion. Offers more flexibility in the long run.
Nightmare is too nice a word tho.

BUT..

My feelings at this point is that things have got to start taking shape
quickly or the thrill might go away
Turbo is moving Very quickly on getting this off the ground, but four walls
do not a castle make so we NEED utilities like TEXTURE ASSIGN soon, I started
a 'room sprite' thingy a while back but dropped it to pursue trying to
pull all the animation/mesh/dispatch stuff apart for a library of sorts.

I don't feel that the TR series is so much embodied by eye appeal as
atmosphere. Dropping a few trees, idols, etc adds to that.

Bottom line I guess what I'm saying is go the quick route. Most of the
code should port easy to the bones of a better app.
