RTV or Return to VilcaBamba(2) wiil be the next installment
of the prior TR2 level.
(so far)
It contains the original rooms from the first level release.
all item & "gameplay items" have been discarded, as I'm getting better
at plotting gameplay now.
it(so far) contains an additional 9 rooms(& more coming)for a total
of 14 (full-sized) level rooms &
6 "transitional hallways.(so far)...
TR2 skies are now implemented in this build.
there is also a gigantic,complex "5 layer climbing room"
in the new build, complete w/ "views", ledges, hidden side
rooms.
the design of the build is different too, it's still
a "linear level", that is...Lara will be able to "drive
nearly anywhere in the game on the snowmobile",and yet...
it's also "freeform".Lara will have to get off the sled &
climb, shoot,platform jump to get the best pick-ups & best
gunfights...
This build is about 1/2 done in the "removing flickering,extra
meshes" department w/ Rhino 3D also.
It probably won't be ready until mid-August,I'd think.
however, if anyone is interested in having (as is)the (first) original
Bamba.tre file to look at, I'd consider sending that file
to (truely) interested parties.
